Welcome to Coffee Caboodle. My name is Stephen and my goal is to give you simple, no-nonsense advice about buying a coffee machine for home use.

Coffee Caboodle was started in 2016 with the mission to provide the latest coffee machine reviews, and information related to brewing speciality coffee in the home.

When my interest in coffee ignited and I started researching which coffee machine to buy, it was frustrating seeing too many sites with a USA focus, so I decided to launch Coffee Caboodle.

My Story

I grew up drinking Vimto, tea, and crappy instant coffee…

And then when I got a job in recruitment I found my coffee intake increased dramatically. A day wouldn’t pass without consuming two or three flat whites from a coffee shop. I was spending around £50 per week on my coffee habit!

It was fairly easy to cut back to one Starbucks each day, but I wanted to be able to recreate barista-style coffee at home, so I embarked on a journey of discovery.

So far, I’ve bought and read a half dozen books on coffee. Attended Introduction to Coffee, and Fundamentals of Espresso & Barista Basics courses, and I’ve interviewed a few coffee industry professionals.
